Hi all,

I had a terrible noise coming from my furnace and had it diagnosed as the draft inducer. I put a new one in today and things went great until they didn't. The original noise is gone, but the new draft inducer makes a noise caused by the fan hitting the plastic casing. It goes away if I press lighlty on the motor to balance the fan in the casing. Is there any way to properly balance or pitch the fan permanently? Can I add a washer to the orange spongy ones? There is only one way to install the part so it is odd that there seems to be no adjustment. Here is a pic on the part. Help much appreciated: this was a costly repair!
