I usually use Benjamin Moore regal select eggshell with great results. I chose a Sherwin Williams color for a nursery and decided to use Sherwin Williams paint.

They sold me on the Harmony line which I got in the eggshell.

It is much shinier than the Benjamin Moore eggshell I’m used to and after 2 coats on 2 walls, I am still seeing shadows through it.

Sherwin Williams offered a gallon in the Emerald Line at the cost of the Harmony. Which I would get in matte to tone down the sheen. Or my Benjamin Moore rep said they could match the color.

What brand would give best results? I don’t want to mess with inconsistent color issues. I don’t know how well the BM system has the SW colors.

Also, I did 2 coats on 2 walls and 1 coat on the other two. Realized I wasn’t happy and stopped. Am I ok doing one final coat on all walls with a better paint or will they look inconsistent?
