Kitchen re-do

last modified: 13 years ago
We changed our beige Corian to Sierra Bordeaux granite with a 1/2 inch bezel edge and full backslash and we replaced our double bowl drop in stainless sink with a single bowl undermount restaurant-style stainless sink and faucet. We widened the peninsula to create a breakfast bar. Everything else stayed as it was....but our kitchen feels completely new!

    Beautiful!
To help with my decision... What was the main reason you changed to single bowl sink? Do you miss double bowl now? I'm considering doing the same so we can wash larger pans & baking sheets in sink.

Cschwem, when I had a double bowl sink I found I only used one side! Also, it was difficult to wash large pans and cookie sheets. It was also too shallow. I couldn't love my new single bowl more! I've attached a photo of the old sink and the new.
