There is plenty of beige tile out there that would work for you, it might add some interest to have that bit between different.

Go with a large format porcelain tile. And while you're ripping up the floor, put in radiant heating under the tile. It will serve the same purpose as the carpeting, i.e. making the floor warmer to the touch.

1st - Are you keeping the vanity cabinets and counter in the same finish and color? If yes, then I would select a tile that has a warm beige with some greys that will go with the warmth of the existing tile.

2nd - If you are changing the finish on the vanities. I would select a color from your granite, I see some greys right?

3rd - Would also update the lighting weather the fixture itself or the bulbs to a natural white to cancel some of the gold in the room.

4th - Would update the cabinet hardware.

5th - Remove the window coverings on the window and update.

Don't need one on the arch.
