You can hang a rod above it and wider than all 3 windows for drapes or you could do roman shades on each window BUT I would have a piece made to fill in the arch and paint it trim color

Separate the room darkening function from decorative panels. Get a local Hunter Douglas source for black out or room darkening privacy, outside mount, as ONE shade to mount ABOVE the arch and cover all three when dropped down. There are tons of option, and as many options cordless, easy rise for raising and lowering Add decorative panels on a rod, as Beverly's FIRST picture, and fuller panels, at least a double width fullness.

There's a difference between room darkening, and black out. : ) If you can't bear a spec of light? You need the latter.

If you want no panels? I'd consider inside mount plantation shutters, and custom, including the arch, and simply leave the arch ( blades) closed.

I have had these closed in on many jobs they are a PITA to look good without a fortune spent on window coverings that look right. Then you just have a nice set of windows that can look awesome without doing custom drapes and IMO plantation shutters are not ever my favorite and certainly not in bedrooms . You can get panels that are room darkening they can hang together with your drapes and if the drapes are 3 x wider than the rod will provide very good room darkening when closed. The way my guy closes the arch is to remove the arched trim and he does a dywall patch

Beverly, that is what I had hoped to do, but was concerned that the angle of the ceiling would prevent me from being able to hang the rod on the outer corners.

Does anyone have a photo of what a closed in arch would look like? I'm having a hard time visualizing this. Thanks!

For sure spacing will be critical for your installation

Maybe if you put the rod right above the arch, it might work. Hard to tell because the pic's on an angle. Someone will have to get up there and measure to know for sure.
