Free standing solar panel

My husband and I are trying to decide how to handle a free-standing solar panel debacle with a home we are about to put an offer in on. It is located on the property adjacent to the house which is owned by the sellers mother. We have a few options:

  1. Disconnect solar (they said the electrical went fr $140 down to $40 per month...we would want proof obviously)
  2. Have lawyer right up something where we are allowed access (The mother said that’s fine but we would want to know if she wants to be compensated).
  3. Pay to have it moved to the property (or ask seller to)
