I love your property. It's like a woodland hideaway! We skipped fall here for the most part. Leaves were still green when we started getting blasted with freezing temps and snow. Although I have seen a few large maples that managed to put on a nice show of red. But my yard is just sad.

peren..you were so right!..my trees recovered!..and I never touched them..but they really did scare me!..not to make you feel bad but our forecast says that we have a week of decent temperatures..try not to look out of your windows Lol..

popmama..I LOVE reading your compliments :-) I remember that several on the forum took an early nasty hit..my own hit was abnormal too..I have an oak and lots of shrubs with green leaves..sorry that you missed fall..I'm not tech savvy enough to post links (I've tried)..one of the neighbors in back is selling their house..they moved already..their agent was in back..I said "hello"..she said that it was "beautiful here"..I said "I think this backyard feels nicer because it overlooks MY backyard" and she said "I agree"..see if you can find this house..5229 Mosswood Drive Indianapolis IN 46254..you see my yard from all of their rooms in the back..they have lots of hosta..had even more but they took a bunch..I don't blame them..

Wow that house has TONS of gorgeous hostas! That is just gorgeous. And those hardy bananas are outstanding. It's like a combination of woods and tropics. I'm really jealous!

The realtor is really playing up the yard so you might get lucky and plant/hosta lovers will be attracted to the photos and be the ones who want to tour it and then buy it. Good luck!
