lighting for dining/entryway the

I need help choosing fixtures for my entry and dining room which are in very close proximity. Pictures are below, including the paint color since the photo of the room doesn’t show the true color.

My first two options are brushed nickel—an orb over the table and a similar cage type light in the entry. Second options are the darker iron metal/wood look orb and traditional chandelier.

All doors in the house are the color of the front door shown, and all door hardware will be changed to brushed nickel. Dining table is dark wood. These rooms are adjacent to the kitchen and living area where I will have brushed nickel or possibly chrome fixtures if I choose nickel for the entry/dining area (is it ok to mix chrome and brushed nickel?)

I feel like the brushed nickel fixtures are more suited to the style of the house, but don’t know if i need something darker and heavier looking to balance the darker doors and table. Is one of these colors more likely to remain in style?
