Darkening pine with Danish Oil

I have some pine that has Watco Natural Danish Oil applied. I would like it to be darker. Can I apply the Watco Black Walnut now to darken it or is it too late. It's a ceiling beam that was built and finished last week but I don't like the natural finish color. What is the best way to make it darker?

I'd try a glaze first. Run a sample on some scrap pine first. Glaze needs to have a top coat applied, so another coat of Watco. https://www.popularwoodworking.com/article/glazes_and_glazing_techniques/
