Well it seems to be doing ok even in the chilly weather lately. I still got some weeds to pull on the side of house. But so far nothing has froze or died.

In general, it seems that growth of many things here typically accelerates in fall (until cold).

Something that I did differently this year was to greatly reduce heights of Senna alata as soon as most flowers of each were shed. Surprised by second flowering on the new growth of some.

Got pole beans, tomatoes, lettuces and summer squash going. The summer squash is going away soon - it developed powdery mildew, but not before I harvested 1/2 dozen with a couple more to go. Tomatoes are still ripening, and I've already harvested a few pounds of beans.

Very busy with visitors at my house but I still managed to keep the garden going, tomatoes are ripening every day, harvesting cucumbers, summer and winter squash, beans. Planted carrots, kale, radishes.

I am jealous of those of you all who already have ripe tomatoes..... mine are just starting to flower.... not a lot of flowers.... just a few.... I have two pepper plants, a few cucumbers and just planted my herb seeds.

The only edibles I have going right now besides the fruit trees, are a few banana hands that are ripe and Chives. I bought both garlic and onion chives at the begging of the summer. I dont have good luck with chives. They usually die. They are still going, so I'm thrilled.

I got lots of Key Limes and Persian Limes from my little potted trees. They were so ripe they are already yellow lol. The Kaffir Lime also did well this year.

I only got one Buddah's Hand fruit this year. I am happy that the bigger tree survived because it was almost dead when I pulled in out of the greenhouse last spring! It was in the far corner and must not have got enough water.

We just harvested lots of pole beans, and today started planting cool weather crops. Yeah, a month later than usual. Also, yesterday we irrigated the veggie garden for only the third time this year. That is very unusual for the spring and fall, when it is usually necessary to water at least once per week. With all the rain this year, the water table has been up - thus no need to water.
