thank you. Sorry, need to clarify, it’s NOT the shadow, it the difference in color, the installer said theres was no posible way for him to cut the slab to the length of the backsplash so he had to cut it that way.

Wow that is pretty different, hard to say if it’s within manufacturers tolerances (hard to quantify anyhow)

What manufacturer? See if you can get a rep from them out to look at it.

He needs to replace the left side. After he eats a few of these, he'll stop doing it.

Unacceptable. When the template was done in your home, were you informed there would be a seam ?

Were your slabs already purchased and at the fabricator? Or did you purchase FROM a fabricator?

Can you add a pic? How long is this splash exactly?

What type of Quartz did you have installed ?

If its Caesarstone, its definitely a do-over. The fabricator is not supposed to-use slabs that came from different batches and these obviously are. The same thing happened to me and they replaced the whole thing.

Put a nice plant at the transition to hide the break & give you something nice to look army.
