H iguazanum question

Hey All,

Does anyone know if this species has a dormant period? I have three of them in a pot and they're shedding their leaves but the bulbs are nice and firm.

Fred, they are the most adorable iquazuanum I've ever seen!! don't believe that they go dormant but they probably shed. Lol love them!!!

As for the plants, mine are evergreen although they slow down some, this time of the year. That being said, I would would consider following their request to go dormant and watch them.

Hi Jody,

For now I just set them aside dry in the warm porch. I'll keep an eye on them to see if and when they decide to wake up. Thanks for the advise.

They're not my pups but I loved their inquisitive looks, I had to include them in this message. I'm such a woof person I couldn't resist.

It is starting to look like my Sonatinis that have finished blooming are starting to "pup". Not having any experience with them, I wonder if they multiply easier than standard sized hippeastrums?
