Which Provenza line did you install? I am looking at affinity, it’s only 2mm though.

In the old house, we installed Provenza Antico Stonehenge- driftwood handscraped. Loved it. I dented it within the first month when I accidentally-dropped a can of soup. Yes, it dented the floor, but it did not chip peel or flake off. The dent was noticeable to no one but me because of the handscraped finish. A dropped can will also dent many site finished oak floors, so this isn't a negative that only applies to engineered floors. A dropped heavy object will cause some type of damage to most floors, but usually this damage will not be visible to most people. The person who dropped the can will see the dent for years to come ... been there done that!!!

I realize stuff can and will happen - dents, scratches etc. I just keep reading that Chinese products are bad. I can't afford an fully american made product so I'm on the quest for a quality product in my price range. Maybe Provenza and Hallmark don't fit that criteria, but something must.
