Just bought this new comforter that I really like. We previously had a beige quilt and although I prefer quilts, I hadn't found a color I like. What other color(s) should I add for a contemporary look? The beige pillows will be gone, can't get white as that would be impractical.

I want to get a new bedroom bench at the foot of the bed, and although it would be nicer/more airy without storage, we probably will need to stay with a bench that includes storage.

I'm thinking of getting a pouf for the corner by the window (and will get rid of the plastic containers) as our cats will probably like that.

So anything you would add/recommendations, colors especially would be appreciated! I would rather not change out our neutral panels on our windows.
