but im not sure what forum it was in.. trees.. conifers.. or shrubs ....of which.. they are all the same as to pruning ...

aesthetic pruning might also go as far as topiary ... but i dont know who would avert themselves under that term ...

@sara I had gone through their directory last night and sent emails to several. There were only two people in the directory in my area code, so I looked for anyone who travels to my area. That might get pretty expensive.

A budget solution might be to check with a local horticultural college. The department head might know a local student with sufficient skills to be able to do the task, and the student might welcome the side income.

@gyr_falcon UC Davis would have that in spades, but I am not sure we have a horticulture program in the South Bay Area.
