Winter Kill on a Boxwood-like bush

I've been in my new house almost 5 years and this is the first time I've seen so much winter kill (east central New York). I was shocked to find this shrub on the southeast corner of the house looking brown. There is, however, some green leaves in the center. Should I have someone cut it back or leave it alone? Any other advice appreciated.
