I love the whites as well!

Bolero is definitely a favorite.

I have Desdamona that is really coming on and Whirlaway that has blown me away with how long it lasts on the bush.

In my hot climate in New Orleans, Desdemona does not get many petals. Maybe it will get more when it matures. I have only had it for one year.

In a long and wide rose bed, at least 3 bushes deep, having at least half of them in white flowered bushes, gives a visual impact of clean, pristine beauty like no other color combination. This is especially true if deep purple and red blooms are minimally used, leaning more heavily toward lavender, yellow, pink, and orange/apricot flowered bushes instead.

Suebelle, Desdemona will get more petals as she matures. My pic is of her first year. She was 3 this year and definitely fuller. She's a good bloomer.

Anyone have Honeymoon? Mine has been a bit of a disappointment with small blooms and she's pretty stingy, too. Any opinions in colder zones?

Your Fair Bianca and Bolero are incredible, Suebelle! Bolero is a huge favorite of mine. I‘ve wanted to try FB but didn’t know if Bolero was too similar or if FB is unique enough to grow her as well. What are your thoughts?

Ohhh, Kenneth, that's how I wish mine looked. Yours is just perfect. I'll keep trying to make her happy - more rose food, manure, etc. Thank you for posting. She's absolutely beautiful.

I bought Shirley's Bouquet at a flea market last year for $10. It has become one of my 2 favorite whites - the other being Pope John Paul II. It is a pure, clear, bright white with no hint of other color. It stays on the bush a long time. I looked for it again at the flea market but no luck. It hasnt been talked about much, but it is a very good white!

Dave6aMO - I guess in some ways they are similar because they are both white and fragrant, and they both stay small. However, the fragrance is not the same on both of them and the form is entirely different. Maybe I am partial, but I wouldn't be without either of them.

Yea! Someone else with Mary Magdalene! I wasn't sure about her at all when I purchased her. She is a great rose in my weather. Just so lovely and a nice scent.

Kenneth is your Honeymoon a grafted or own-root plant? It appears very vigorous.

White and white blends are by far my favorite color choices. Since I'm in the process of changing my garden around to be heavy on my first love (HT's). I don't have a huge choice of whites that do well in my garden but I will load up on the ones that perform well for me. Crystalline, JFK, Moonstone, Whirlaway Leading Lady and Arcanum perform top notch for me.

Crystalline. I'm very happy it likes my garden. I put bush #4 in this past summer.

Moonstone has a hard time with my winters. Especially with where I had them planted. I'm in the process of making a bed for 4 Moonstones on the south side of my house. It is about 5 to 7 degrees warmer there then up at the top of the hill where the cold north winds blow.
