We have a 6 ft wide by 10 ft long entry with 8 ft ceilings that leads to a family room with lots of wood features and opens to the side to a living room open to dining room. So only one complete wall really in the entry.We are trying to decide on an entry light. Have lots of natural wood-vertical grain fir cabinets and doors and oak floors. Doors have black handles. Plumbing fixtures are chrome.

Doors are shaker with lots of straight lines. Husband was thinking of continuing orbs but I thought we should contrast. Our style is somewhat eclectic. 1960 ranch remodeled with some modern and MCM features.

This is not our house but it is a similar layout, better than my under construction photos and shows the Stella (no. 2a below). Walls are white. Closet door is stained Vertical grain fir. Wood floor continues into entry. We have side lights on front door.

Comments on these possibilities?

1. Flat black squares. 18.5 x18.5 x3.5 that are very bright but dimmable. He is concerned this is too low profile. I think it complements the light in the kitchen which is black disk.

2 a. Mitzi Stella or 2 b. Mitzi Renee. 3 globes on right angle mounts. 11' tall around 18.5 diameter. These are nickel not chrome but not in direct line of sight of any chrome.
