Wall paint ideas

I have this huge part of the living room that has a very dark paint (dark brown ). I want to paint this wall lighter something light that will go with the other wall color in the house. I dont want to paint anything else but just this wall so need recommendations on what you think will be best :) posted the pictures under the comments !

Do you know what the paint is on the other walls? If so, I would paint that wall the same color as the rest of them.

hmm... i dont but the previous owners left the paint buckets so i could find it out from there . will painting it the same color make the living room look dull ?

No, it shouldnt. Accent walls are not really necessary, unless there is something there you want to accent.

I doubt, even if you find a paint can with info and have a new can mixed, that the colors will be the same. and, then what will you have? Just another plain wall with a t v. Keep it brown and make it an accent wall.
