I would agree it is quite small for the space . You can easily do one that is wider too 33” is quite narrow. Could you post a picture of the table we might be able to suggest a different one but close in style.

Worked for me too BTW I find it a bit clunky for suce a small table Can you show the rest of your home design that would be helpful in suggesting somethig else that you might love, I also see no info about the wood or warranty and I have to tell pottery barn is not where I would buy furniture especially wood that you have no idea what it is and where it comes from.Went back to the buffet and it says mango wood I have no clue about that wood but says humid growing situation and no would be my take. BTWyou will never get more that 2 seats on each side with only 12” extension on each end I would suggest you look for a table with a pedestal base and leaves in the center to allow more seating and also a better size for the room. For sure wider than 33”
