There aren't any rules per se, however some clients like keeping all pulls a consistent size - to do so you will need to locate your smallest cabinet to make sure you choose a size that isn't too big. Some clients prefer mixing sizes in the kitchen. It's mostly about personal taste and function. Hope this helps!
