Furniture Design Dilemma Bedroom

Hi Houzz! i Have a dilemma. My husband and I are looking to redo our bedroom and get rid of our furniture that we both brought from our previous homes. We just purchased our new bed and a wall mount fireplace. I’m looking for a modern, chic, warm look to our bedroom. I believe the dimensions of the room is 20x20.

Any suggestions around bedding, nightstands, and dresser would be greatly appreciated. We’d like to finish this project ASAP so that we can be proud of our bedroom. :(

To be honest I would start by painting the room. Also perhaps a built-in look for the fireplace and tv, Lower the tv. No matter what you add here that wall is an eye sore right now, and will not be elegant. I think you need a softer more relaxing paint, and decide what to do with the tv and "fireplace".

If no to paint, I would add a large area rug with some blue tones in it, large nightstands may be mirrored, hang some curtains for softness, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DLQAVuOonE

Not saying you have the tools for this but someone could make it for you or maybe ikea hack.

If you can paint, do it. Before choosing a paint color choose the bedding then use a color from the bedding for the walls
