I like your wall art. I would get fancy bedding and lamps.

Thank you. One of my friends is an artist and made it for us. What do you suggest for lamps? Happy to add colour to bedding but the cream base stays.

To add texture and color, add a woven throw in one of the colors from the art and change out two of the pillows to that color or another color from the art--blue or coral.

Housegal do you mean the throw pillows or sleeping pillows? Do you think I could add two new pillows in a colour?

I would get some nice white coverlet and decorate with pink and blue pillows.

I would change your pillow cases to a blue or rose color from the painting, and add a textured or patterned throw to the end of the bed in the same colors. You don't need the extra gray and white decorative pillows.

Your lamps are too slim for the chests. Chunkier lamps on the chunky chests, skinny ones on leggy tables. I would lower the art to 5" above the headboard, add throw pillows and a folded throw that pick up on those colors. You seem attached to the bedding, but it is the worst part of the scheme you have here. At the least, steam iron the wrinkles out. I think fitted bedding would solve the issue of a sloppily arranged bed, which is your focal point in a bedroom.

Ha ha nice of you to point out the sloppy arranged bed. I actually quite like the bedding regardless of the current wrinkles. Thankfully I have much better things to spend my time on than steam ironing my bed linens...seriously!

I probably won't go with pink. Happy to add in blues and greens but pink is too feminine for hubby. But I see they have this same one in a nice blue colour.

Does the throw have to be king sized? It is quite hard to find one that will actually fit across a king bed!

Those lamps are better. Add their height to the chests to see if they come to the right height above the floor - 58-62". You may want to purchase fabric to create a throw if you can't find one for a king. Check fabric sales in January.

I like your duvet. It may need a fluffier insert though. I have linen duvets and of course they aren't ironed. If possible you may want to add a dust ruffle to tie the duvet to the floor. It has a floating vibe about it. Then just top off with a textured throw and you are done.
