Do you live in or near a city?

Most cities have urban gardens, plots of land for people that do not have their own gardens.

Sometimes they even share tools, and may have certain rules about organic gardening etc.

They are great places to to share seeds and ideas and meet people who like to do the same things you do.

You might also check out the stores near you such as hardware stores, stores that sell gardening supplies, health food stores and see if they have any bulletin boards.

You can put up a little sign that you are looking for seeds.

You can also cruise around the neighborhood and check out people's yards.

If they are growing vegetables in the front and side yards, the back is already full too, and you can leave an index card under the door with your phone number and/or email address.

And I bet if you left a little baggie with that index card that also contained a home-made cookie or mini-muffin, you'd get a response for sure!
