Elderly with broken foot.

An elderly relative has a broken foot. The MD said he could put screws in it, but no guarantees that would help. Relative is 79yo of sound body and mind otherwise. How can I help?

    You can help the same way you'd help someone of any age. If the person lives close by, they may need help with transportation and household chores. You will know the mobility range after surgery. No guarantees, but worth a try.
