I don't know what to say as I've never had that experience with them. I'm probably to blame if they've stopped doing so. : ((

They are a great company. I would add a new order.

It may have something to do with their labels. Your order is placed. Each rose has a label printed out that goes on that rose, as well as shipping date and number of roses in that order.

If you were to add a rose or three, then they'd have to go and reprint all the labels.

It's one thing for someone who sells non-living things. So many bars of soap and any can be interchanged. Order something grown for individual sales is a whole nother world especially when it comes in two gallon pots with moist soil and leaves.

Kenneth, you might have better luck closer to your shipping date. That is when I changed my orders. They may have written separate tags, but it could be it's just too big a hassle with the free shipping sale. I've also cancelled some and substituted others, so that could be the reason also.

I also tried to add in the past and they wouldn’t let me

I placed an order a couple of years ago with Heirloom and with in 10 minutes I called back to add to the order and they wouldn't do it

She said that it had to do with the credit card charge. I was pretty irritated

That could be true. A merchant submits a "pre-payment authorization" to the CC and an authorization for the sale is held till the merchant ships. Its a hassle to cancel the authorization (because you can't change the value of the authorized payment, you can only cancel it or complete it) and request the customer re-submit CC info. I can understand that policy.

That makes sense. I know that some companies don't run your card until they are ready to ship
