I'd use a Bissell Crosswave, no steam. Love mine.

Steam is not allowed with vinyl. Steam is only good for tile, concrete, metal and glass. Anything else is ruined by steam.

Armstrong has some great cleaning products...including microfibre mop kits. Armstrong's trying to let you know that they will not offer warranty once steam hits it. And they are WELL AWARE the Bissell and Shark WILL NOT offer such a guarantee. It's a nice way of them to say, "No. You can't do it if you like your warranty."

Since it is vinyl, it will handle the spray-and-mop type of products (cleaners used need to meet Armstrong's requirements). You just can't use steam.

Remember: vinyl and all plastics melt when put too close to heat. Steam = 100deg C. That's HOT! Hot enough to warp/discolour any floor vinyl.
