Baby Lime tree suddenly losing leaves!

Recently we got a lime and it was doing well, for about a week. Until we decided to feed it. my partner put a drop of food into the soil (without reading instructions and diluting it) we figured it’d be okay. But then about a week after that it started turning brown and dropping some leaves. Not sure if it’s to do with feeding if it is PLEASE help!! what can we do to rescue the tree? :)

Water the tree to dilute the solution.

Please post a picture so that we can better tell what is going on. Also, what type of soil mix is it in?

I doubt that one drop of undiluted fertilizer will have hurt the tree.

Leaf drop of citrus is most often due to root rot and/or cold soil temp and some plants (perhaps not citrus) drop leaves when they are moved to a different location with a different amount of light and/or heat.
