I’m OCD too, but you’ve got to squelch that. You’re focusing way too much on the window and symmetry. Maybe it would be helpful for you to move at least one of the matching chairs elsewhere in the room, perhaps sliding both to the right with one crossing the corner to land on the right hand wall with the table in the corner between them. Or how about getting a much longer drapery rod and drapes, hung to make it appear that the window is twice as wide as it is? (Don’t center the drapes over the window - instead make it appear as there is another window immediately to its right or left.)

How about put a bookcase where the plant is on the right - then the window will appear more centered.

I agree not to worry about the symmetry.
Get a wider drapery rod and do 2 panels per side. Then see how much space you have leftover on the right side for a bookcase or other furnishing.

I'd balance the space with what you put there, like a floor lamp on the left of the window, and a bookcase on the right.

Unless you have some very special pieces to display I would not do shelving there at all. I think Beverly’s idea with the art is much better . A wider rod with more drapery is also a good plan.

Could you pull the chairs back by the window, angled with a table/lamp between? The plant could still go in the corner.
