What do you think? That's all that counts. Can you stand to lose 2 1/2 feet of access to each side of your bed? Your call.

I agree if you like them and they fit your needs, go for it. FWIW, we have a king bed, and our nightstands measure 27.5" W x 18" D x 30" H. The height of your mattress can factor in, too. Our nightstands are a couple inches taller than the mattress top. I'd want the height to be at least even with the mattress.

Just make certain that if you roll out of bed in a hurry (in the dark, in an emergency) that you won't smack your eye/head on the corner of the nightstand.
