Bring out some of the Le Creuset for styling, use rectangular wood trays to cluster the things on the counter. I would not use a rug under the stools and I’d replace the rug under the table with one incorporating blue and warmer colors like green and burnt orange or red, think oriental rug design and colors. Switch out the chair cushions to coordinate with the rug. Flowers with color are always a pickup. In other words, use accessories before tackling the pendants and other more permanent fixtures. Assuming you have under cabinet lighting, start using it even during the day, that is a huge room warmer.

I think since you love blue, and your light fixtures seem to be fading into the background that could be a place to add some texture and color while giving the eye a place to land.

Those are shelves for fruit and sweet potatoes. I wanted to get them off the counter and make it easy for my young children to get to them.

To try out more color, buy two kitchen towels in red, yellow, or orange. Add a $5 kid-friendly plastic-coated tablecloth in a cheerful print. Buy a bunch of bright yellow sunflowers for the counter. Take down the vines on the cabinets and put away the gray towels.

BTW it does not look cluttered, it looks lived in! remove the ivy for sure, and maybe do with a less busy print in the rug under the table.
