Two quilts finished for Project Linus

I finished these two quilts this weekend. They are washed and ready to go to Project Linus. (Not the best photos - they were taken with my phone.)

The first is my 2019 BOM quilt. I pieced the backing from more fabrics from the collection. The second was pieced by my mom, at least ten years ago, probably longer. I added the borders and a few machine-embroidered animals.

Great finished, Donna. I love your BOM quilt. The dark green sashing is just perfect for the more subdued colors of the collection.

I'm happy to see a BOM finished so quickly. It came out lovely. It's nice someone will get to enjoy the quilt your mom pieced so long ago. Is it hard to give it away?

Bev, it's not hard. I have several of mom's quilts that I am keeping, but I have given quite a few away. Some to family & friends and some to charities. I think that would make her happy. :)
