Bathroom Lighting

I am considering changing these lights but most of the options I like are the LED versions where the bulbs aren't replaceable. I've been told that these light last around 20 years.

This (above) is what I liked to place over each vanity mirror but I don't like the idea that one day one of these lights may go out and then I'd have either wait for the other to die or replace both. Am I overthinking things? Anyways I wanted something that would be easy to clean if dust gets on there. So I was looking for something wider, so if it dies I just have to replace the entire fixture but I don't see any as wide as 48 inches or more. So I thought maybe I could try to spruce up what I have now.

I currently have these below. I want to continue with a chrome finish but I wanted something a bit more stylish. It's also a lot of bulbs. I started using the LED lights, I don't know how long they last.

I was thinking of changing to the clear daylight LED bulbs which are super bright. I'm just wondering if the small light shades that I see for the fixtures may work in those so then I can have some other options. Perhaps the shape of the bulbs don't always have to be round? What do you think?

We need to see your vanity and style of the bathroom. Hollywood lights work great for applying makeup but they are currently out of style. Sconces are popular but often don't emit enough light. If you want just one fixture above your mirror, consider something that blasts the light on the ceiling. It will take alot of lumens to create enough light to apply makeup. Also remember to look at the color temperature for the bulbs you want.

That’s for the tips guys! I do agree that they are outdated! The vanity isn’t here yet but that’s what it will be. I’ll also have lighted vanities above the sink. There is light in the shower and above the toilet so there will be quite a bit of light. I go back and forth about switching them out! Perhaps I’ll visit an actual light store and see what other options they have!
