Dining Room Lighting is Offset -Solutions??

last modified: 6 years ago

My dining room chandelier is offset...it is located between my kitchen bar and my dining table. I plan to replace it with something to coordinate with my new tile. Would replacing the chandelier with track lighting, so that some lights shine on the bar and others shine on the dining table, be a good & more updated option? Or would simply replacing it with a recessed light or flush mount wall fixture be a good option? The only other thing I can think of is to swag a light fixture over the table. I am afraid if I move the fixture, we will not be able to patch the hole in the popcorn ceiling without the patch showing. Would like something simple that does not hang down any lower than the fixture shown.

My dining room with offset light fixture.

Any solutions on how to fix this offset lighting?
