Help with curb appeal in older home

My mom is selling her house after many happy years of living there to be closer to me. We are looking for ideas to boost "curb appeal" without too much investment or work since she is doing this largely by herself. Any landscaping, painting, window treatment, driveway repaving ideas are much appreciated. Home was built in 1959 but the dark green hatch window detail on the left part of the house gives me serious 1970s vibes. Please tell us what you would do!

I would start by power washing the driveway and soft washing the brick and siding. A lovely pot by the front door with seasonal color. Clean and tidy goes miles.

Further down the list I would address the paint if possible- the way it looks in pictures one gable is white, most of the siding is cream/ yellow, and the window trim and shutters are green? I would do everything the cream, black shutters, black lamppost.

The pics are dark and the house, especially the entry, is difficult to see. Is hiring an arborist to limb up the tree by the driveway in the budget? The entryway should be the focal point. Then paint and landscaping. Maybe eliminate the shutters on the double window.

Thanks! I think the driveway is concrete! I agree, we can definitely power wash the driveway at a minimum, wondering if it just needs to be replaced or repaved since she has filled in the cracks a few times over the years. I'd rather just fill the cracks again! The little tree blocking the front door also sucks up the nutrients in the ground so the grass has died around it whenever we put in new grass. Wondering if we could just take out the tree or maybe put mulch and raised flower bed under that tree.

Limb up the tree near the lamp post. Straighten up the lamp post and paint it with the trim color. Remove old firewood on the back of the garage. Just before it goes on the market, add blooming flowers in pots and if budget permits, 1-gallon size flowers along the front of the house. If the flag will be displayed, make sure it's clean and not worn-looking.

Does the whole house exterior need painting? Just the trim and shutters? Or all fine? New, current photos would be useful, including some close ups of the two front windows, garage door, and entryway.

Yes, can take some more photos this weekend! We will be fine not showing the flag for selling :-) Half the exterior is peach brick, the garage is white siding. I am sure nothing has been repainted since we bought the house in the late 90's, so open to repainting with different colors, removing the shutters & trimming or removing the tree blocking front door. Also looking into colorful shrubbery for the front near the door.

Like many older homes, it has a lot of shrubs that are twiggy on the bottom and unattractively shaped on top. The house will look so much better without them. And the tree really hides the house. It should go too

For ideas on paint colors, google "blonde brick" .
