Yes, it is. We park the cars there and go straight to the house through that door. If someone comes to visit, I either open the garage or open the front door. Then, they walk through that hallway next to the cars/garage.

Was trying to be functional somehow. Of note, sections of the garage are open so it is not a temperature-controlled area.

I could build a wall but I would also need to make a door as well to go from the cars to the hallway. Might be complicated.

We have a similar situation in our design, but without even a vestige of a hallway, and we're building cubbies along the wall for coats and boots and sports equipment. We have a better entry in the front that'll be nice for guests and when we park on the street (in the summer) or go out without a car, but there's lots of inspiration for garage mudrooms out there. You should at least be able to hang shelves or hooks up for a few things.

I agree ; if you could put a wall there; no need for a door; just leave a doorway opening to get access to cars or add a wooden gate if you have kids for safety- you could also add coat / hats hangers on the wall and place slim shoe racks on side where you add the half wall.

If you put a wall there inside the garage (with an opening so you can get to the cars), do you have enough room between the first car and the wall to open the car door to get in or out? It looks rather tight to me. You need to be able to walk alongside the car with two bags of groceries or a large package. An entry hall welcomes guests into your home: this is not “welcoming”, especially un-insulated. You definitely need hooks for umbrellas and wet things.
