Hey, I've not only caught up, I'm even early to the show. I've been loving all of the pictures. So many good Hosta gardeners here. I can't remember if I already posted this one or not. Gypsy Rose, Hot Kiss and Kiwi Full Monty

I should have a Kanzi picture lurking around here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Here it is, fresh from delivery

Shadow - Great pics, another Kingsize showing great colour.

sunnywood - Your Key Lime Pie & Key West are particular standouts.

You were both posting at the same time as I was.

UGH!!! This is why you should NEVER post when you’re distracted! I was talking to the baby, the dogs were bumping my legs and the cats were hopping into my lap!!!

That was not a Krossa, it was Komodo Dragon! Sorry for the brain fade!

Krossa Regal, always a favorite of mine, never disappoints.

    Komodo Dragon

Wow! Everyone—-I can finally like things again!

saija, love seeing the progression of your Krossa. Your Kiwi looks great too. I had one, but it died on me....

Steve, your Kisuji and Kanzi are really nice and different. I like both of them and they are new to me.

Mae, I just love that little KO Mouse! Love the mouse ears series. I want to collect them.

Beth, I don’t know why, but I thought Kiwi was a small hosta. Guess not. Also love your KO Mouse.

shadow, I cannot believe the blue color of your Krossa. Beautiful!

sunnywood, love that Key West. I am thinking of that one for the sun bed I will be planting this year. Also, that Kleidocnrome is a nice streaked hosta.

peren.all , sorry about your Kleidochrome.... better luck this year. I think your Krossa looks beautiful set amongst all the other plants. It still really stands out.

old dirt, I think out of all the Krossas, yours is the loviest! The fullness, size and that blue color really make it a standout!

This may not be appropriate, but I am going to ask anyway....my brother Bob, is having a life threatening surgery tomorrow at about 11 a.m. If you’re so inclined, I’d ask that you think of him and send good energy his way. He will either survive this or not. He has a blood clot lodged up in his carotid Artery next to his eye. It has affected his vision already. If it bursts during the surgery, he’ll die. He’s only 65.

    Now my K:

The first picture, it was still in a pot. This is its permanent spot in the middle of my front bed. It has a lot of room to grow here so I am hoping it will grow nicely in some sun, some shade.

djacobs of course I will send you and Bob thoughts today, tomorrow.....We are rather a family like group here so we do care about what happens to you and yours. Amazing surgeries can be performed these days. Sending hugs your way.

    Love all of the pictures.

djacobs ....best wishes and God Bless!

Kempen Red Twist....can't see in pic, but great red legs

    Key West

    Krossa Regal

    Kinba

djacobz, all the positive energy and wishes sent to your brother for the best outcome. When things like this happen it puts things into perspective on what's really important.

I'm enjoying everyone's Kiwi Full Monty, all nice specimens. Mine is trying to come back after a couple years of being too dry.

    Komodo Dragon

    Krossa Regal

mbug, I can see the red legs on Kempen Red Twist! cool hosta! Your Kinba is lovely and another one that I have never heard of.

sandyslopes, That Komodo Dragon is huge! I love where it is planted because it fills that area perfectly. Oh, and of course Krossa, what else can I say? It is so beautiful in every one's yard....this seems to be a must have for hosta gardeners!

Thanks to everyone for your support for my brother. This group does feel like family like and I appreciate being able to share.

djacobz..when you see this..I hope your brother is safe and sound and the surgery went well..

Krossa Regal..one of my very favorites..I have them in several locations..a rescue in front..

on both sides of this path..

    4 rescues in back..

a volunteer in front with hellebores..looks like a Krossa Regal..

    several more in back..

mbug & Karin Kempen Red Twist is a great looking plant!

Glad you finally got your namesake Karin.

nw I remember your rescue, they look so happy in their new home. They didn't skip a beat.

nw, wow things are really starting to fill in! I can’t imagine how good it’s going to look this year. Well, I CAN but you know what I mean:)

NW- Krossa Regal is one of my first hostas that I purchased just because I liked the Look of the leaf. Little did I know that it would be a start of something very beautiful. I have divided that hosta so many times , I lost count . YOu have showcased it with grace.

Djacabz- wishing your brother a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. You were in my Gratitude/Attitude this morning .

peren, oursteelers and Shadow..thank you for your comments about my Krossa Regals..I really love that hosta..I also have some by my mailbox but couldn't find a nice picture..I have 14 for sure..and maybe some offshoots to the sides of some of them..when it comes to Krossa Regal I believe in multiples lol..

No "k's" for me. I purchased a "no name" hosta in 2018. Pretty sure it is Krossa Regal. No picture. Looks like a good find as I note the favorable comments.

Well I tried to start a separate post, but Houzz won’t let me do that, so——I am very very happy to report that my brother is alive and well! The surgery went perfectly and he is supposed to go home tomorrow! Thank you to everyone who who sent good vibes and held him in their thoughts. I so much appreciate your kindness and support!

Oh happy day, that is excellent news djacobs!

    djacobs.....excellent news !

djacobz, my prayers are a day late so they will be for a quick recovery.

My K's (My Krossa Regal is in the middle of the photo of my new section in the H's.)

Kempen Red Twist - top view and side view.

    Kinbotan

Beverly, thanks for the well wishes....he is home now. I love Kempen Red Twist. The Kinbotan, is new to me does it stay small?

djacobz, Kinbotan is a mini and stays small. Its an oldie that I think is being reintroduced as I saw that NH Hosta has it this year. Someone must hove tissue cultured it. BTW I just checked at MyHostas Database and it is a venusta seedling.

djacabz - I just read your post, I pray the surgery went well for your brother. Now is the time for healing. Reading further - So thankful everything went well.

Also Kiwi Full Monty does get large though it is in the medium height range, mine was stunted last year from the tree trimmers. All the first leaves needed to be removed so replacements could come out.

old dirt the picture of your Krossa Regal is beautiful, I should take more evening pictures the light is so soft at that time.

Mbug love your Kempen Red Twist it has a little of everything good.

Sandyslopes what a beautiful statement your Komodo Dragon makes, hopefully one day mine will get as large as yours.
