How is it doing? The freezer’s available anytime. If it’s enjoying the weather and looks like it’s happy you could let it grow until it starts to look tired then freeze it. I seem to remember 40 days below 40 degrees. You could wait until mid February and be thawing it out at the beginning of April.

ps: you could just throw it on the driveway ... maybe run it over a couple times... see if that helps .... but not the freezer ...
