Miele Induction Auto shutoff

Hello, a basic question that I can’t figure out.

Looking at he the Miele 30 or 36” induction cooktop.

If I’m cooking bacon or something else greasy and I need to pick the frying pan up off the hob for a minute to drain grease, will it shut down during that process and have to be restarted? That seems like it would drive me crazy. I use gas now just as a note

From the user manual

On the control scale of the cooking
zone, power levels 1 to 9 flash if:
– No cookware or unsuitable cookware (items without a magnetizable bottom) is being used.
– The bottom diameter of the cookware being used is too small.
– The cookware is removed from a cooking zone that is on.
If suitable cookware is placed on the cooking zone within 3 minutes, you can continue as usual.
If no cookware or if unsuitable cookware is used, the cooking zone will automatically turn off after 3 minutes.
