How modern is the bedroom set? Do you have a picture of it?

Don’t mind the mess, this a pic from when I was painting... you can see the dresser in front there

The edges need touched up, and I’m thinking of replacing the pulls with something less contemporary

The duvet looks like it’s a champagne/ivory color. I would definitely change the hardware. Maybe you could even spray paint it a matte gold. I like the way gold looks with the black/rose/ivory/champagne color scheme(see legs of the bench in the first picture).

Nelly, what styles of drawer pulls would you pick of you were me?

Well you are slightly limited in options mainly because the lines of the dresser are so simple..so, I present to you 3 options. One is basically a matte gold/brass version of what you have now. The second one has more of that Anthropologie vibe (I think they are feathers)—they are still pretty simple but have some whimsy. The third one (from etsy) seems like a decent transitional option—they are simple but still have a little style.

@Britta W, what pieces does your bedroom suite have? Obviously, a bed and a chest. Nightstands, too? Dresser? Matching mirror over dresser? Are you willing to paint any of it? How “handy” are you - can you sew? How far do you want to go? Do you have any other bedroom furniture in the house?

Hi. I agree with the poster about, what bedroom suite you have? I guess you should post more photos. As for the duvet cover, I like Nelly suggested, though I would recommend Hugo Boss cover as seen on https://seven.deals/. You should look for either pearl cream or caramel-toned patterns because as I mentioned above, I don't know how the other bedroom furniture look like, though I like both variants.
