The remote is a variable controller. It is a low voltage wire that connects to the heater and to the variable control. The control has a toggle switch to turn the heater on/off and a dial that allows the user to set the heat at their desired comfort level. The heater can be adjusted to wide open (75,000btu on 10’ heaters, 40,000btu on 5’ heaters) or down to 50% (37,500btu on 10’ heaters, 20,000btu on 5’ heaters) or anywhere in between.
