We have a bathroom that seems to have some form of grout or similar material stuck on the tile. This is an original bathroom from 1961 when the house was built. We are looking to hold off on remodeling this bathroom for a bit longer while we do some other projects. It looks like the original homeowner attempted regrouting or caulking some areas (see photos). Overall the bathroom is clean and in good shape. Just wanted to see if anyone had some tips on getting the tile in better shape for the short term. Any cleaning solutions, painting, etc...
