The leaves look wrinkled which could either mean over or under watering, is the soil soaking wet?

when mine did this I found root rot. I just cut the living part into 3 node sections and root them in orchid mix placed in a gallon freezer bag that I mist every 3 days till they root then plant them in a small 4 inch pot

@rosebailey01 did you keep roots attached?

most of the roots were dead so I cut all the dead black roots off and cut 2 nodes above the roots dipped in rooting hormone powder. My plant was about 12 inches long so I cut the rest into 3 node pieces and dip that in the rotting Hormone and placed all in a platonic bag with 2 part orchid mix and 1 part soil, mist the soil and inside of the baggie then seal.
