If I am understanding correctly, you want to install the tile on the wall where the outlet is. I do not see a need for that.

I would install it only on the back wall and that's it. Beautiful tile!

I decided not to use that tile to go around the corner, but I still using it for the backsplash. I need an option, other than painting it for that area, it gets dingy so quickly.

Tha backsplash has a lot a gray tones that will go well.

I had thought about using stainless, what's your thoughts on a colored glass?As long as it goes with the SW Aquasphere. & the Cambria Swanbridge.

Honestly. You have to make sure that the laundry is beign useful and doing it's job before the esthetic in my opinion.

If that area gives you trouble and gets dingy. My solution would be to use small piece of stainless as the pic above or cover it up to the wall cabinet. Just for my piece of mind.

That is fine too. Just stick to solid colors that will not compete with the tile.

Put the same tile on the side wall; run it all the way to the door trim and down to the floor OR stop at the front of the countertop.

Oversized switch cover plate. Eggshell, satin, semi gloss paint on the wall (washes up easier)..not flat paint.
