IMO, painting that would be wrong. Aesthetically wrong. And just wrong to cover those details. The piece will be ruined.

what about painting part like the legs ?

I agree with the comments not to paint it. It is a beautiful piece. Is the TV on the cabinet a temporary placement? The cabinet would look nice with a couple of decorative objects on it, i.e., a vase, etc.

Its a gorgeous piece. I do see a few nicks, and I may try to match the stain and touch them up, but, no, please do not paint that beautiful piece of furniture. No paint on i anywhere. If you need a piece of furniture that you want painted, go looking around at the second hand stores, and find a piece that will work for you, that isnt tiger wood, or anything, that would be ruined by painting it. I paint lots of furniture, but, if its gorgeous wood like yours, it doesnt ever get painted.

Beautiful piece but not the place for that tv! Complete contrast of styles and takes away from the beauty of the piece.
