I saw a seedling heat mat at Menard's, and I got to thinking about someone on this forum who suggested that sansevieria roots like to be warm in order to produce pups. I live in South Dakota, all my plants are in the house, but the house is 68 degrees in the winter, lower at night or when we are gone. So... What if I got one of these heat mats and placed the pots on top? Would that heat up the roots so they could propagate or encourage new growth it roots or leaves? Has anyone tried it? thanks.
