I would leave it as is and reflect that in the purchase price. Some buyers may love it and want to keep it, while others may want a full gut job that they can decide on. Either way, it's not worth spending money on before the sale. Just make sure it is spotlessly clean.

Would definitely restore it immaculately if we keep it original. Simple, original and immaculate.

We IMO MCM bathrooms were not really all that great and cracked tile repair is iffy and honestly do you think the money spent to repair will be money well spent. Talk to your realtor , what sells in your area. I have a MCM ranch 1956 and two things I changed right away were the bathrooms and the kitchen( I even moved the kitchen) we don’t live in the 50s anymore and I don’t think redoing something to bring to a space into our century is a bad thing. I know so many on this forum want to stay true to the original, I want to enjoy my house for how I live.

I love mid-century bathrooms and clicked on your question hoping for a picture. I'm sure there are people who don't like them, but I'll bet an equal number of people love those colorful tiles and fixtures. Don't forget, the people who are looking at your house are already drawn to a midcentury house. The one sure thing -- remodeling would cost in money and aggravation, which won't be repaid in the sale price.

if you're selling right away, then leave that job to the future homeowner. they might not like the finishes you chose and rip it all out again. so wasteful. and who knows, maybe the next buyer will love the bath and want to just repair it.
