What are the cushions like on the Rowe? I have the Rowe Cindy chair- it has down cushion which makes it a little slouchy comfort wise. Yours has a little more modern styling.

I would probably buy it with the down/fiber wrapped HR foam option.

My experience is not as recent as you are looking for but I was surprised when I saw numerous poor reviews for rowe. My sectional is more than 10 years old and I'm happy with it. You do need to tidy the loose back cushions and flip seat cushions occasionally but I'm pleased with the slipcovers and the sofa in general.

I personally wouldn’t buy something I couldn’t sit on, and also keep in mind ability to get service in the future.

I still haven’t bought a sectional, sadly. We were supposed to go the San Francisco this March and I was going to sit on some Room and Board sectionals, but we cancelled our trip for obvious reasons. With everything going on, we will probably have to wait to see how our finances are over the next few months.

That being said, I was leaning towards the Room and Board Metro or Morrison. I have a friend that bought a Robin Bruce (Rowe) Orson recently and loves it. I have just read too many mixed reviews on Rowe, so have been hesitant about ordering from them.

Have you ever shopped at Ethan Allen? We have so many sectionals, quality made in North America and you can create any shape. Happy to help if you like!

I have had both Rowe & Robin Bruce (their fancier line) sofas, loveseats, and chairs over the years. I found them to be well made, the upholstery work was carefully done, and overall lasted well. Granted, it’s been a few years since I’ve purchased one of their items, but I think for the price, Rowe is a good value. I will say all the pieces I’ve had have been in a home with no children, and often just me.

I have 4 Rowe chairs and love them. They are in our living room which we don’t use daily but do use frequently to enjoy our fireplace. They have held up well. Fabric looks great and the cushions are still comfortable and pretty much as they were when we bought them probably 7 years ago.

We have had multiple Rowe pieces, sofa’s, loveseats and chairs (2 of each). They have lasted through kids and pets. I’m so impressed with the quality that we just ordered my wife’s office furniture from then given our last experiences.

My Rowe sofa with slip covers is awful. The cushions constantly need rotation and the fabric is becoming thread baren and looks shabby. we are looking at replacements and it will not another Rowe.
