DD is closing on a new house in 2 weeks. There are no ceiling lights in the house, although there are ceiling fans in most rooms. She would like to add recessed ceiling lights in a few rooms on the first floor - kitchen, hearth room, MBR. I‘m sure it’s possible. After all, Chico Garcia used to do it for Candice Olsen all the time!

What is the latest technology in retrofitted, recessed ceiling lights, preferably LEDs? While she and I both prefer lamps, sometimes you just need good overhead lighting to find that last LEGO.
