Our garage door opens into a small hallway. First, there is a washer dryer, then as you continue down the hall a half bath. Then, you enter the kitchen. As part of our kitchen Reno we are getting rid of our 1970’s vinyl which currently exists both in kitchen and mud room/hallway.

We have 1970’s oak hardwood in front door entryway, living and family room so planning to match kitchen floor to oak. Issue is that hardwood is iffy for laundry area/mud room/half bath. What will look good next to the oak? Any recommendations for luxury vinyl that may work? We were shown some gray/white wood-like samples but I know it’s not advised to put the fake wood next to real wood. Anyone have ideas?
